Slidefast ("we," "us," "our") operates slidefast.app. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our service. We built Slidefast with privacy as a core value. We collect the minimum data necessary to operate the service.
By using Slidefast, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.
When you create an account, we collect your email address and a hashed version of your password. We never store your password in plain text.
Photos you upload are processed server-side to generate your slideshow. Staging images are stored temporarily and deleted immediately after your slideshow is published. The generated slideshow file (which contains your images as base64 data) is stored for up to 7 days and then permanently deleted.
We store the caption text, transition settings, and optional password hash you configure for each slideshow. This data is deleted when the slideshow expires after 7 days.
Credit card and payment information is processed directly by Stripe. We do not store your payment card details on our servers. We receive a record of completed transactions (amount, timestamp, credit pack purchased) from Stripe.
We use Vercel Analytics to collect anonymized, aggregated usage data (page views, general geographic region). This data cannot be linked to individual users or photos.
We do not sell your personal information to third parties. Ever.
Your uploaded photos are never used to train artificial intelligence or machine learning models. Ever.
We do not analyze, process, or retain your images for any purpose beyond generating and serving your slideshow. Photos uploaded to Slidefast are not shared with any third party for any purpose other than the cloud storage and content delivery infrastructure required to operate the service.
To request deletion of your account and all associated data, email us at [email protected]. We will complete the deletion within 30 days.
We use cookies strictly for session authentication (keeping you logged in) and slideshow password authentication (remembering you've unlocked a password-protected slideshow). We do not use tracking or advertising cookies.
We use the following third-party services to operate Slidefast:
Each of these providers has their own privacy policy. We select providers with strong privacy commitments and process only the minimum data required for each service to function.
We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including encrypted connections (HTTPS), hashed passwords, and HTTP-only cookies. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your data.
